All orders for parts and or services will only be accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
1 - Definitions In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:
a. "Dimension" refers to Dimension Computer Services
b. "The Client" refers to any person or company that receives goods or services from Dimension.
2 - Payment Terms a. All invoices should be paid within 7 days of the date of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed. Dimension reserves the right to charge interest on outstanding balances at 3% above the prevailing base lending rate of the Bank of Scotland Plc, after this period has expired.
b. Where balances are outstanding after the 7-day period, Dimension reserves the right to suspend the provision of goods and/or services until the balance has been paid in full.
c. All payments to be made in Pounds Sterling, by cash or cheque drawn on an account held by a UK bank, unless otherwise agreed.
d. For web sites, a deposit of at least one third of the estimated price, to the nearest £100, is payable before work commences. The balance should be paid within 7 days of completion.
3 - Credit Limits a. Business Customers are provided with a credit limit for Labour only of £250 unless otherwise agreed by Dimension. Once this limit is reached, Dimension reserves the right to suspend the provision of goods and/or services until outstanding balances have been brought within this limit.
b. Where the purchase of parts by Dimension as part of a job for The Client would exceed £100, payment of the full amount will be required in advance before parts are purchased.
4 - Provision of Parts and Services a. All parts provided by Dimension to the Client remain the property of Dimension until payment has been received in full.
b. The Client is responsible for the condition of all parts supplied by Dimension from the point of installation or delivery.
c. Services will be charged at an hourly rate in half hour increments according to the prevailing service charge.
d. Where orders for parts or services are cancelled, Dimension reserves the right to recover from the Client all reasonable costs incurred in the preparation of the order prior to cancellation.
e. Where work is carried out at the Client's premises, the Client shall ensure that an authorised person is available to sign off completed work.
5 - Warranty a. All parts and Computer Systems supplied by Dimension come with a 1 year, on-site, parts and labour warranty.
b. Dimension will endeavor to ensure that all warranty claims are actioned within 14 days of the claim being made. This cannot always be guaranteed as some repairs will depend on the availability of parts.
c. Parts replaced under warranty may not be identical to the originals, but will be of equal or better specification.
d. Replaced parts will be covered by the remaining term of the original warranty.
6 - Estimates of Costs a. Estimates for parts and services will remain valid for 30 days.
b. Written Estimates will be based on a proposed work schedule, which will be agreed in advance by the Client. Any required work outside the scope of the proposed work schedule may incur additional charges.
7 - Delivery a. Dimension shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including consequential loss or loss of profit) arising directly or indirectly from any delay in the delivery of all or any of the parts or services howsoever caused.
b. Delivery of Computer Systems shall normally be made within 14 days of full payment being received.
8 - Prices a. Dimension reserves the right to modify prices without notice.
b. Current prices are available on request and are published on the Charges page.
9 - Data a. Dimension cannot accept responsibility for the integrity of data accessed by, or contained within systems undergoing assessment, repair, upgrade or maintenance, although all reasonable precautions will be taken.
